# General Settings – Custom Order Type Names & Labels

Your desired order type label might be too long for your documentation/backend reference. Enter the abbreviated version in this field and the longer version in the field under ORDER TYPE LABELS(COMMA-SEP). Common examples of backend order type labels are: Take-Out, Dine-In, Delivery

1. Navigate to [manage.acadiapos.com](https://manage.acadiapos.com) for **Retail** or [rfsm.acadiapos.com](https://rfsm.acadiapos.com) for **Restaurant**

2. Click "Settings"

3. Click "General Settings"

4. Use the **Filter** **Settings** field to find the sub category "Order Types and Attributes" or scroll down until you see it.

5. Under "Order Type," you can enter what you like. Here we've chosen common types like: **Take**-**Out**, **Dine**-**In**, and **Delivery**. *Separate by commas*

6. Scroll down and click "Save"
