# General Settings – Display Order Type Selection before Product Selection

Follow the steps below to prompt the user to select the order type before proceeding with the order.

1. Navigate to [manage.acadiapos.com](https://manage.acadiapos.com) for **Retail** or [rfsm.acadiapos.com](https://rfsm.acadiapos.com) for **Restaurant**

2. Click "Settings"

3. Click "General Settings"

4. Use the **Filter** **Settings** field to find the sub category "Order Types and Attributes" or scroll down until you see it.

5. Under "Place Order Type Selection As First Screen," select **Enabled**.

6. Scroll down and click "**Save**."
