# Getting Started with Time Clock App

In this guide, you will learn how to install Acadia POS Time Clock App and how to clock in and out.

1. Go to your App Store, your store may look different depending on your version of android.

2. Find the **Search** bar

3. Search for **Acadia POS Time Clock**

4. Click on the Time Clock app, make sure its name says Acadia POS, there are many time clock apps in the marketplace, and you have to make sure it's this one.

5. Click Install

6. Click Open

7. Enter the API **(See the instructions below if you are unsure)**

You need the API key to connect your business to this TIME CLOCK APP.

- To find and enter the API key go to [manage.acadiapos.com](https://manage.acadiapos.com) for **Retail** or [rfsm.acadiapos.com](https://rfsm.acadiapos.com) for **Restaurant**
- Go to **Settings** on the bottom of the sidebar, and under "Business" on the very bottom, look for **API Keys & Integration**
- Under Manage API Keys select the API, you can select an already existing API, or you can create one specifically just for the time clock.
- To do this, click **+ New API Key** on the top right and create a unique ID (do not make it too simple)

8. Enter the API

9. Click the location drop down to choose a location other than the default.

If its a single location, you don't have to choose.

10. Choose the location you are logging into.

11. Click **Save and Continue**

12. Enter your employee 4 digit pin

13. Click **Clock In**

14. If you have a named Pay Category you set up, choose that category in the drop down and click **Use Category** to complete.

15. Below you can see your timesheet information for the day/week/month.

16. To clock out, simply click the **Clock Out** button
