# Schedule Changes in Name, Cost or Price

This guide will teach you how to schedule a timed change for name,cost,price for your products/items.

1. Make sure you have enabled Schedule Save for Products in General settings. [Learn how](https://acadiapos.com/doc/general-settings-enable-scheduled-save-for-products/)

2. Click "Items"

3. Use the "Search" field in the top right corner of the page to find the item.

4. Next to the product, click the **calendar icon** under Action.

5. Click "+Add new"

6. 1) Use the dropdown menu under **Field**, Select: **Price**, **Cost**, or **Name**. Here we will update the price.

1. Under the **Value** header, enter the new price you want applied.
2. Under the **Apply** **Date** header, choose the date when you'd like the item to go into effect.

7. Click "Save Changes"
