# Security – Lock Screen upon Inactivity or Logout After Each Sale

Make the POS screen automatically lock based on how long the screen is inactive. Set in seconds.

1. Navigate to [manage.acadiapos.com](https://manage.acadiapos.com) for **Retail** or [rfsm.acadiapos.com](https://rfsm.acadiapos.com) for **Restaurant**

2. Click "Settings"

3. Click "General Settings"

4. Use the **Filter** **Settings** field to find the sub category "APP-Specific Tweaks" or scroll down until you see it.

5. Enter the desired value in the field under **INACTIVITY TIMEOUT(SECONDS)**. Leave blank if you do not wish to auto-lock the screen.

6. Scroll down and click "Save"
