1. Let’s create or adjust your tax settings on the Acadia POS backend
2. Navigate to https://rfsm.acadiapos.com/ or https://manage.acadiapos.com from any browser
3. On the left hand side of the page click the tab “Items”
4. On the top right side of the page click the button “Taxes”
5. Click on the pencil on the right hand side of the page to edit your current sales tax.
6. Edit your tax percentage here and click “Save Changes.”
7. (Optional) You might need to add another tax if your city or state requires it for certain products, like hemp, delta, amusement, or other specific items.

8. Click “New Tax“
9. (Optional) If you want to show tax breakdowns on your receipts, enter the tax rates under the “Tax Breakdown” section, such as 9.5,6. Be sure to separate each rate with a comma and don’t use the % sign.
Under “Tax Breakdown (labels),” you can enter the description for each tax, like “9.5% sales tax, 6% delta tax.” Again, separate each label with a comma.
10. (Optional) If your locations have different tax rates, click the “Open Custom Location Rates” button and enter the unique tax rates for each store.
