This guide provides a straightforward process for enabling and adding new brands and associated them with products/items in the Acadia system.
1. Click the “Settings” tab on the bottom left side.
2. Click “General Settings”
3. Use Ctrl + F on Windows or Command + F on Mac to find the “Support Brands” and “Show Brand on Product List”
Alternatively, you may manually scroll down.
Make sure “Enabled” is turned on for both settings. (Support Brands/Show Brand on Product List)
4. Click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
5. Click the “Brands” tab on the left side.
6. Click “New Brand”
7. Enter the name of the brand. Ex: Goya
8. Click “Save Changes”
9. The new brand will now show up on the Brands page.
Click on the “Items” tab on the left hand side of the page.
10. Click “Search” at the top right of the page. Enter the product name. Click the magnifying glass icon to search.
11. There’s now a list of all the products matching that term. Now click the edit pencil icon under “Action.”
12. Click the “Brand” dropdown and choose the correct brand for that product.
13. Click “Save” at the bottom right of the page
14. You will be redirected back to the main product search page, the brand will now be listed under the product name.
