1. Let’s create a new item/product in the point of sale system. Follow the step-by-step instructions below.
2. Navigate to rfsm.acadiapos.com or manage.acadiapos.com from any browser

3. On the left hand side of the page click the tab “Items”

4. On the top right side of the page click the button “New Item”

5. Start by filling out the name of the product.

6. Under the Product Type header, click on the dropdown and select the “Simple” option.

7. Under the Category header, click on the dropdown and select the relevant category you created.
If this is your first time creating a category, click here to get started.

8. Under the Tax Class header, click on the dropdown and select the relevant tax.
If you need to adjust or create a new tax click here to get started.

9. Under the Price header, enter in the retail price of the product.

10. Under the SKU header, enter in the the SKU of the product.

11. Under the Cost header, enter in the wholesale price of the product.

12. Under the Barcode #1 header, enter in the barcode of the product.
(If your product has multiple barcodes you can enter them in each corresponding barcode header field.)

13. (Optional) Under the Vendor header, click the dropdown to choose which vendor you purchased this item from.

14. After checking over all your information make sure to scroll down and click the Save button.
