Create a size attribute to organize your products by size.
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant
2. Click “Items” on the sidebar
3. Click “Custom Attributes” in the upper right corner
4. Click “New product Attribute” in the upper right corner
5. Under ATTRIBUTE CODE, enter size. All letters should be lowercase.
6. Under ATTRIBUTE NAME, enter Size
7. Under CUSTOM ATTRIBUTE TYPE, select String from the dropdown menu
8. Under UI COLUMN SIZE IN POS, enter 4
9. Under FRONTEND INPUT TYPE, choose Select.
10. Click +Add New to add the type of sizes that will be displayed
11. Under VALUE, enter the first size. For example, you can enter small but the value must be in lowercase.
12. Under LABEL, enter the size as you want it displayed to your employees and/or customers. i.e Small.
If you need to add more sizes, enter those values and labels by pressing + Add New for each new size
13. Adding medium is the same process as adding small, use lowercase for “Value” and for Label, Label it however you choose. No need for lowercase.
14. Follow the same steps for adding Large
15. Click “Save Changes”
16. To see how it functions, follow these steps.
Click “Items” on the sidebar
17. The first example is going to be what the size select process is going to be like for adding a new item.
18. The newly added size attribute is now functional, select from the sizes you added
19. The size is now selected
20. To edit an existing item
Click the blue pen to EDIT/VIEW an existing product.
21. Look for the newly added “Size” attribute, and click on the drop down
Every size type you added in custom attributes will appear here.
22. The size is now been selected
23. Click “Save”
