This guide will teach you how to import product with variations with the variant matrix system.
1. Locate the CSV file

2. If in an email, you can open with Google Sheets (if you don’t have Excel)

3. Go to your Acadia POS Dashboard

4. Click on “Import/Export”

5. Under “Action” click on “Import product and inventory information, create ALL products present in the file.”

6. Pay attention to the required format

7. Change any fields to match the described format

8. Delete Fields with no data in them

9. Make sure variant fields are displayed in the following fashion “variant_option_one_name”, “variant_option_one_value”, “variant_option_two_name”, variant_option_two_value, etc. (there can be up to 10)

10. Download the file as a CSV file

11. Go back to Acadia and select the location

12. Click “Browse” to find and attach CSV file

13. Find CSV file and click open (same on a pc as on a mac)

14. Click “Validate”

15. Click “Import” at the bottom

16. Click “OK” when it tells you there is success

17. Under “Action” click “Create Variant Matrix Products From Imported Data”

18. Click “Create”

19. Go back to “items” once complete

20. Notice these are the “Parent products” and when you click the pencil icon…

21. You will see that it created “child products” inside the parent products, so that the SKUs correspond with correct items and pricing. Congratulations, you saved some time on inventory!!!
