This pricerule makes it so every item that is selected for this discount would need to select the product one additional time, to recieve its matched percentage. So if i buy 2 pounds of beef at 5 dollars, if i add another order of 2 pounds of beef it would have the percentage set in the system taken off.
So if that percentage was set to 25% percent, the match item would be $3.75. Because $1.25 which is 25% is taken off.
You can do this with as many items as you want.
1. Go to manage.acadiapos.com or rfsm.acadiapos.com
2. Click “Items” on the sidebar
3. Click “Price/Discount Rules”
4. Click here
5. Enter the name of the new price rule
6. Click here
7. Enter the products into the list, in this case its buy 4 items, and get 4 percent off.
So, just choose the items you want to be included, make sure to put a minimum of 4 items for the logic to work. You can have as many items as you wish for this rule.
8. Click “All Cart Items / Buy X, get percentage on matched items”
As soon as 4 items are chosen, the percentage will apply once the 4th item is chosen, or multiples of 4.
9. Choose a start/end date or leave it blank for the rule to persist until you disable it.
10. If you want this price rule to stack with another rule, choose “Stackable”
If its not “Stackable” , select “Non-Stackable”
11. Select the locations the rule is active in.
12. Click “Save Changes” to complete the rule change.
You will now see it in the pricerule list, they can be edited at anytime by clicking on the blue pen next to the rule.
