This guide is essential for users of the AcadiaPOS app, as it provides a step-by-step approach to seamlessly switch between Restaurant Mode and Retail Mode. 1. To switch back and forth between retail and restaurant mode in Retail Restaurant mode I, click on the hamburger menu.

2. Click “Switch to Retail”

Alert: Alert! Generate ticket label automatically needs to be enabled in settings
Step 1. Go to manage.acadiapos.com (Retail) OR rfsm.acadiapos.com (Restaurant)
Step 2. Go to the sidebar and click Settings-General settings-
Step 3. Use CTRL+F(WINDOWS) or CMD(MAC) on chrome to easily find with a keyword.
Step 4. Type “Generate ticket label automatically” or just “Generate” to skip right to the settings.
Step 5. Now set to “Enabled”
3. This will generate a ticket label automatically & choose okay, or we can change the label to whatever we desire. For example, a name or any other number. Then press “OK”.

4. In retail mode, you will begin by choosing either “Add+”, which creates a new ticket with a label, or quick sale, which will not require a label, but you can only have one quick sale open at a time. For this example, we will choose the label “Add+”.

5. Begin adding items to the menu, first select a category

6. Then add a menu item.

7. In order, to get back to the tickets screen if you do not want to take payment on the ticket yet, select the hamburger menu again.

8. And select “Tickets”.

9. You can still print to a kitchen printer or a customer copy to a receipt printer in retail mode.

10. Once you are done selecting the items you want to print, use the back arrow, to get back to the tickets view.

11. Before paying, if the incorrect employee is tied to the ticket, then the correct person can be selected by pressing the ”Change Employee” button.

12. Select the correct employee’s name, and it will be changed appropriately.

13. Select the hamburger menu again.

14. And switch to Bar/Restaurant mode.

15. Select New Order

16. Choosing one of the bottom 3 order type options will create a new ticket with the label automatically generated if that feature is enabled, or it will allow you to create a label.

17. These order types can be color coded from the “Order Types” option in the general settings.

18. Easily switch between the “Room’s” and “Tab” views here.

19. When choosing “Dine In”, however, this option will take you to the room tab, where you can select the table number.

20. If there is a table layout created, you will be given the option to choose a table in any of the created rooms. First, choose the room, then choose the table.

21. Choose the seat according to which customer is ordering.

22. Choose a category.

23. Choose items to add to the cart.

24. Click here to get back to the table view.

25. Select other seats, and add items to them as well.

26. To move items from one seat to another, hold your finger on the item, and drag it to the left or right. This way ticket items can be split between patrons.

27. If a customer decides to cover the entire meal at the end, you need only select merge all.

28. By default, every item will be placed on seat #1 to make a single ticket.

29. There is also an option to print each seat’s ticket in order for them to be dispersed individually.

30. To pay for the ticket, select the credit card payment symbol in the upper right corner.

31. You can select take payment if the customer wants to pay with a card type.

32. Or you can choose one of the many cash options.

33. Once the cash has been accepted hit the “Confirm Button” or if the card has been processed and approved it will automatically go right to the receipt.

34. You can then print, email, or text the receipt for the customer.

35. Click Next to go to return to the tickets screen, and select the next ticket.
