How to create a gift card that can be customized to whatever amount you want to load on to it. With examples of the MobilePOS/AcadiaPOS point of sale Apps.
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant
2. Click “New Item”
3. Step 1. Enter the name of the custom gift card EXAMPLE “Gift Card Custom”
Step 2. Choose Gift Card as your category
Step 3. Choose “No Tax” from the “Tax Class”
Step 4. Enter “Price” which is “0”
Step 5. Type giftcard in the “SKU” area
Step 6. Choose “Custom Price”
Step 7. Click Save.
4. Click “Save”
5. You now have a custom gift card option.
6. Click Gift Cards
7. Click “Gift Card Custom”
8. Enter the amount, and swipe to populate
9. Choose payment method, for cash, choose amount and click “Confirm”
For Card, click “Start Transaction”

Click on the gift card category
12. Select the custom gift card
13. Click “Pay”
14. For Cash choose amount and click “Confirm”
For Card click “Take Payment” and wait for the card reader to light up
