How to create a gift card with a specific value in Acadia POS, with examples of the MobilePOS/AcadiaPOS point of sale APPS.
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant.
2. Click “Items” on the sidebar
3. Click “New Item”
4. Step 1. Enter the name of the gift card value EXAMPLE Gift Card $25
Step 2. Choose Gift Card as your category
Step 3. Choose No Tax
Step 4. Enter Price
Step 5. Type giftcard_ into SKU field and the value of the card after the “_” (underscore)
example for a $25 gift card, type giftcard_25
example for a $50 gift card, type giftcard_50
Step 6. Click Save at the bottom

Click “Gift Cards” category
6. Click on the gift card of your choice
7. Choose a payment method
8. Now hit confirm if its cash, or hit “Start Transaction” if its a card.

10. On the Acadia APP, this is what it will look like. Its essentially the exact same thing.
Click on the Gift Cards category
11. Choose the Gift card
12. Enter the gift card number, or create your own unique ID system
13. Choose a payment method, if cash click on the amount and click confirm.
For card click “Take Payment” and wait for the card reader to light up
