This guide will walk you through creating and viewing tables and floorplans in your Acadia POS web portal and configuring the Point of Sale for table management. With examples of Acadia POS App with Graphical/Grid layouts and how to set them up easily.
1. Navigate to rfsm.acadiapos.com

2. Go to “Locations” to create a location if needed.
Not needed if you already have a main location and do not plan on separating them.

3. Click “New Location” in the upper right.

4. Fill out and save.

5. Click “Rooms” on the sidebar to the left

6. Select the location you want to add a room with table seating.

7. Click “Create a Room”

8. Name the room, in this case its “Outside Bar”
Next click “Save”

9. Next click “Tables” on the sidebar

10. Select the “Outside Bar” room from the dropdown

11. Click “Edit Layout”

12. Choose the table options from the icons on the bottom right. The shapes indicate the table type. I’m choosing outside bar, it will have all the black dots on just one side of the table/bar. Not all bars are designed this way, its just an example of one layout.
Circle is for round tables.
Square for square shaped tables.
Row for Bar/Row designed layout

13. Defining Table Details:
Table Name: Provide a descriptive name for the table (e.g., “Table 1,” “Window Table”).
# of Seats: Specify the number of seats available at the table.
Table No (Number): Assign a unique table number.

Tip: You can resize, move, or rotate any table while using the Item Select tool on the left side of the pop up window. Press Save Changes once you are done.
- Tables can be resized by clicking and dragging any corner (Hint: Press ctrl on your keyboard while dragging to maintain the same height/width ratio)
- Tables can be moved by clicking on any black line within the table and dragging
- Tables can be rotated by clicking and dragging on the blue circle at the bottom of the table
14. Once the table is created, you can move it around and expand it, stretch it or make it smaller.
1. Rotate the table

3. Expand Left to Right or Up/Down

15. Click the disk icon to “Save”

- Ensure your POS app on the station device is set to Restaurant mode, this mode activates table management features.
Once tables are created in the backend and the POS app is set to Restaurant mode, navigate to Settings, Devices, and then click Params of the device you would like to adjust. - In the Tables View dropdown, choose your preferred way to display tables:
- Graphical: This offers a more visual representation of your restaurant layout with table icons.
- Grid: This is a simpler layout with a table list, ideal for older devices with limited graphical capabilities.
- Note: Grid is recommended for older devices to ensure smooth performance.
16. The first step to changing the tables layout.
Step 1. Click Settings

17. Step 2. Click “Devices”

18. Step 3. Click Params.
NOTE. Depending on browser and resolution, you may need to slide over to reach parameters, use left keyboard arrow in that case.

19. Step 4. Click the “Table View” dropdown menu and choose which style you want for your restaurant with its table layout.

20. Scroll down and/or click “Save”

22. Example of the grid layout: This is a simpler layout with a table list, ideal for older devices with limited graphical capabilities.
