This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the AcadiaPOS app’s Restaurant Mode, specifically focusing on the Tables/Tab View feature. It simplifies the process of managing dine-in, to-go, and delivery orders, allowing users to efficiently navigate between different order types and seating arrangements. With clear instructions on ticket creation, payment processing, and receipt management, this guide is essential for restaurant staff looking to enhance their operational efficiency and customer service.
Tip: In Tables Tab view, Dine In items are separated from all other order types.
1. To open a To Go, Delivery, or any other type of order.
Or
Select the tabs column, use “ADD +” to start a new ticket.

2. The Ticket Label will either be automatically generated, or if this feature is turned off, then the user can create one.

3. The user will need to manually select the order type by first, pressing the “Type” button.

4. Then, by choosing the desired order type from the window.
Choose from “Here” or “Bar” or any custom order type you may have created for in-house table seating/bar seating.

5. Select a category.

6. Select a menu item.

7. Clicking the seats or back button will get you back to the rooms tab.

8. Click the tabs column again in order to get back to the other tabs.

9. Order types will take on a different color depending on the color selection by the user.

10. In order to create a Dine In option select a table to see the seat view, or select a seat to start a new ticket.

11. Then, select the category.

12. And select the menu item.

13. The back or seats button will take you back to the seats view.

14. When clicking the table you it will take you to the seats layout. ( See next slide)

15. In this view, the user can print individual tickets for each seat, combine orders to one or more users, and print one ticket for the entire table.

16. Click the payment button in the upper right part of the screen to take payment.

17. In order to take payment via a card type, choose the take payment button. If there will be more than one card type used choose the split or custom button.

18. Or choose from the many cash options.

19. When the amount of cash is tendered or the card type is approved, click the “Confirm” button. This will take you to the receipt screen.

20. From the receipt screen, the user can print, email, or text the receipt to the customer.

21. The “Next” button will take the user back to the default screen, which is the table view.
