Wholesale pricing is a common feature within businesses that sell products at a lower rate to other vendors, who then sell those products to the public at higher rates. When a vendor or customer is purchasing products at a wholesale value, they are either doing so at cost or at cost + margin. The latter is to be determined by the vendor they are purchasing the inventory from.
1. The first thing you have to do is enable the setting. Click “Settings” in the Menu

2. Click “General settings”

3. Click the “Filter settings” field and type Wholesale. OR
Use the CTRL+F(WINDOWS) or CMD+F (MAC) on your chrome browser to find the field. Type wholesale or customer to easily jump to the setting.

4. Choose “Enable” in the “Allow Wholesale Pricing” dropdown

5. Scroll down to the bottom and Click “Save”

6. Click “Customers” on the sidebar

7. Click “Customer Groups”

8. Click “New Customer Group”
OR
Click the blue pen next to a customer group to edit the wholesale settings for a preexisting customer group.

9. Step 1. Type the customer group name. (If creating a new customer group)
Step 2. Change “Wholesale Pricing” to “Cost-Based” (If its a preexisting customer group, do the same thing)
Step 3. Type “0”
Step 4. “Save Change”

10. Click “Items” to edit the item/items you want to be wholesale eligible.

11. Click the blue pen to VIEW/EDIT a single item

12. For cost-based wholesale pricing, you set the cost in this field. This will dictate what the saving will be for the wholesale pricing for this item.
The customer group you set to have wholesale pricing will receive the cost price you enter.
Then click “Save” at the bottom

13. To change the cost of multiple items at once with the same value, select the items under the mass action column and go to “Mass Actions”

14. Click this dropdown.

15. Choose “Update Cost”

16. Enter the cost you want to set for these items.

17. To adjust the cost, but want the cost to be different across the those items, coose “Quick Update” towards the bottom of the mass action list.

18. Select “Quick Update”

19. Notice all selected items will be brought up to edit, look for “Cost” and edit accordingly.

20. Click “Save”

22. Choose the item with the wholesale “COST” associated with it.
Now click “Assign” to assign a customer with the wholesale payment rule applied.

23. Click the wholesale customer

24. Click “PAY”

25. Choose Cash or Credit and hit confirm

FIRST click “Assign”

28. Choose Customer

29. Go back

30. Click the product you wanted to sell at wholesale.
Notice the price is “$10” , but with wholesale pricing it reflects the “Cost” which is “$5”.

31. Choose cash or credit and hit “Confirm”

32. Receipt
