This guide is essential for users of the Acadia POS app, as it provides clear instructions on how to seamlessly switch between retail and restaurant modes. Tip: The new Acadia POS app has the capability to change modes within the app itself. See the list of modes on slide 6.
1. On the desktop of your point of sale system, open the “Acadia POS APP”
2. Enter the API and click save.
3. After Entering the API code, you will then be able to name your device and select its mode. You can also switch modes under the parameters of the device any time after this selection is made. To do this go to your back office and select settings, devices, and find the POS you desire to change in the list of devices and click the blue pen.
4. Select “Retail + Restaurant/Bar (Dual Mode)

7. When in Retail/Restaurant mode, in order to change between restaurant and retail, first select the hamburger menu in the top left corner.
8. Click “Switch to Bar/Restaurant”
9. To switch back follow the same steps
10. Click “Switch to Retail” to switch back to retail mode
