Depending on how you manage your inventory, there may be a need to have two different SKU numbers; one that is unique to your business and one that is unique to your vendor. The easiest way to manage your inventory is to have both numbers associated with the same product.
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant
2. Click “Items”
3. Click “Custom Attributes”
4. Click “New product Attribute”
5. – Under ATTRIBUTE CODE, you must enter vendor_code.
- Under ATTRIBUTE NAME, enter Vendor Code or Vendor SKU.
- Under CUSTOM ATTRIBUTE TYPE, choose Product attribute/number from the dropdown menu.
- Under FRONTEND INPUT TYPE, choose Text from the dropdown menu.
- Do not select anything under SHOW ON QUICK UPDATE FORM.
6. Click “Save Changes”
