Although each account comes with a default API Key, we recommend creating a new one using your merchant MID number. Follow the steps below to create a new API key.
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant
2. Click “Settings”
3. Click “API Keys & Integrations”
4. Click “New API Key”
5. Delete the preloaded key in the field under KEY and enter the MID number in its place.
Under PERMISSION, select the permissions you want to be associated with the API Key.
- Full Access: Complete access to the backend of the POS.
- Products Only: Access limited to the products.
- Customers Only: Access limited to the customer profiles.
- Orders Only: Access limited to all of the sales.
- Mobile App: Access limited to the mobile app.
6. Click “Save Changes”
