Follow the guide below to apply multiple bottle deposits to bulk items. For example, depending on your state, a 24-pack of beer will require a bottle deposit for all 24 cans of beer in that pack.
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant
Create Bulk Bottle Deposit/ Service Fee Attribute
2. Click “Items”
3. Click “Custom Attributes”
4. Click “New product Attribute”
5. 1. Under ATTRIBUTE CODE, enter container_number_of_items.

Under ATTRIBUTE NAME, enter Number of Items in Pack (or whatever is relevant and obvious).

Under CUSTOM ATTRIBUTE TYPE, select String.
6. 1. Under FRONTEND INPUT TYPE, select Select.
- Under SELECT VALUES, press + Add New.
7. 1. Under VALUE enter 1 and under LABEL, enter 1.
- Click OKAY
8. 1. Press +Add New. and continue adding necessary values. So if you sell 6 packs of sodas, make sure to include VALUE 6 and LABEL 6.
2. Under UI Column Size in POS, enter 3
9. Click Save Changes
Assign Bottle Deposit/Service Fee to Bulk Items
10. Click “Items”
11. 1. Locate the item you want to assign a bulk bottle deposit/service fee to.
- Press the edit icon to the right of it.
12. Under Number of Items in Pack, select the number of items associated with that product. For Example: If it is a 24 pack of beer, select 24 and if it is a 6-pack of beer select 6, etc.
13. Click “Save”
