1. First step to creating a “Web Status Attribute” is going over to the side bar and choosing “Items”

2. Now click on “Items”

3. Click “Custom Attributes”

4. Click “+ New Product Attribute”

5. Step 1. Change “Attribute Code” to “web_status”
Step 2. Change “Attribute Name” to “Online Availability”
Step 3. Change “Custom Attribute Type” to “String”
Step 4. Change “Frontend Input Type” to “Select”

6. This will pop up after choosing “Select”. Click

7. Click here to enter “Value” and “Label”

8. Step 1. Change top “Value” to “Active”
Step 2. Change “Label” to “Display”

9. Click +Add new

10. Add your next “Value” and “Label”

11. Change the “Value” to “hidden” and “Label” to “Do Not Display”

12. Now change the third “value” and “label” to “notsalable” and “Not Salable”

13. Choose whether you want this shown in your “Quick Update Form”
Choose whether you want this on your product list, in the items section.
NEXT Click “Save Changes” and you are now finished creating your “Web Status Attribute”

14. Now to enable click “Items” on the sidebar.

15. Click the blue pen which is the edit button

16. Click “Online availability” attribute and change to “Not Salable”

17. Now that its selected, go ahead and save.

18. Click save
