Learn how to customize the order of items in your cart to improve your workflow efficiency. This guide will walk you through the use of cart separators to visually group items on a single ticket without creating multiple orders. They help split baskets for families, multiple tabs, or special handling.
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant and click Settings in the sidebar menu.
2. Click “General Settings”. Press Ctrl + F (Windows) or ⌘ + F (Mac) and search for “Enable cart separator item”.
3. Select “Enabled” for “Enable cart separator item”.
4. Click “Save”
5. Navigate to AcadiaPOS App, add items to the cart
6. Click the “Add separator” on the cart screen to insert a divider line.
7. Now you should be able to see the divider line in the cart.
You may do the following:
- Long-press a separator to drag it to a new position.
- Swipe left on a separator to remove it.
Tips:
- Use separators to mark pickup vs. delivery items or to split multiple customers in line.
- If the button does not appear, refresh the POS after changing the setting.
