This guide provides a straightforward process for enabling and setting up donation options and also setting up a donation as an example.
1. Go to the bottom of the sidebar and click “Settings”
2. Click “General settings”
3. Use CRL+F or CMD+F and type “Donation”
4. Select “Enabled”
5. Click “Save”
6. Click “Items” on the sidebar
7. Click “View Categories”
8. Click “New Category”
9. Type “Donation”
10. Set “Status” to “Visible” and then Click “Save Changes”
11. Click “Items”
12. Click “New Item”
13. Select “Product Type as “Simple”
Type “Donation” category.
14. Select the “No tax” option.
15. Click “Custom Price” and select “Enabled”
16. Click “Save”
17. Highlight the “ID” number of the donation product you just created and “COPY”
18. Click “Settings” on the bottom of the sidebar
19. Click “General settings”
20. Step 1. Use CRL+F or CMD+F to open “FIND” in your browser
Step 2. Type “Donation” in the search box
Step 3. Paste the “Item ID” you copied in a previous step.
Step 4. Name the Donation, this will show on the “Frontend Screen” for the customer
21. Click “Save”
