This guide details creating a “Size” custom attribute and using it to set size-specific prices for modifiers in Acadia POS. For example, Pizza normally comes in various sizes (small, medium, large) but the toppings will vary in price based on the size. This works for many different items, not just pizza.

Creating a Modifier Group for Size Pricing
2. Click “Items”

3. Click “Modifier Groups”

4. Click “New Item”

5. – Enter a descriptive name for the Group Name (e.g., Pizza Toppings).

6. Click “+Add new”

7. Under “Manage Modifers” choose a Name.
Leave the Price field at “0” as individual size prices will be set later.
Select “Size Price +” (might appear after saving)

8. Use the dropdown menu under “Add Size” to select the size(s)
Enter the size price.

9. After adding all the size prices, click “Save Changes”

Creating Size-Specific Menu Items
10. Create separate items for each size (e.g., Small Pizza, Medium Pizza, Large Pizza).

11. Click “Items”

12. Click “New Item”

13. Fill out all the necessary information:
- Name
- Price
- Category
- Tax Class
- Size

14. Scroll down to “Manage Modifiers” and select the appropriate modifier group.

15. Click “Save”
