Create a Tiered pricing rule for an entire category or categories. This is different than individual Tier Pricing, which is done on an ITEM TO ITEM basis.
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant and click “Items” in sidebar.

2. Take note all of these items are in the same category
To do this yourself,
Step 1. Create a category. Learn how
Step 2. Name the “Category Pizza Slice Tiered”, or anything related
Step 3. Create Items Labeled something like Slice Of Cheese 1,2,3,4 etc , make the price the same for each item/slice. Make sure to assign all the different slices or items to the “Category Pizza Slice Tiered” category

3. Click “Price/Discount Rules” in the upper right corner

4. Name the Price Rule

5. Select “All Cart Items / Buy X, set price to Amount on matched items” from the dropdown box

6. Type the name of the category you create for this rule and select it.

7. Make sure you select a location

8. Select the “Days of the week when the rule is active”
(If it is every day, you MUST include all days)

9. Scroll down and enter the “Amount”, this is the price that the system sets it to when “Buy X” amount is achieved by selecting the item TWICE.
The “Buy X” is the number of items a customer must buy in order to get the “Amount” price. (In this Example its 2)
The “Max Cart Qty” must be set to the same value as “BUY X” (2 in this example)
Click “Save Changes”

Tip: This process will be repeated until all items are added from the category and assigned an “Amount” + “Buy X” (Value) + “Max Cart Value” (Same as “Buy X”)
10. Click New Price/Discount Rule” again

11. And repeat the process
Name it something like “Pizza Slice = 3”

12. Select the same price rule

13. Repeat for the Second Rule
Scroll down and enter the “Amount”, this is the price that the system sets it to when “Buy X” amount is achieved by selecting the item THREE times.
The “Buy X” is the number of items a customer must buy in order to get the “Amount” price. (In this Example its 3)
The “Max Cart Qty” must be set to the same value as “BUY X” (3 in this example)
Click “Save Changes”

14. If you want a 3rd level click + price rule again (you can create as many as you want)

15. Repeat for the Fourth Rule
Scroll down and enter the “Amount”, this is the price that the system sets it to when “Buy X” amount is achieved by selecting the item FOUR times.
The “Buy X” is the number of items a customer must buy in order to get the “Amount” price. (In this Example its 4)
The “Max Cart Qty” must be set to the same value as “BUY X” (4 in this example)
Click “Save Changes”

16. Lets show an example of this rule working on the MobilePOS (Frontend APP/Register)

17. Select one of the items within the category, once you click it you will see that its comes up as the standard single item/slice cost.

18. Click on another Item/Slice and you will notice there a tiered price discount for buying 2 item/slice. Each Item/Slice is now $8 a item/slice, instead of the base price of $10

19. Click on a THIRD item, and now the price is reduced to $6 for each ITEM/SLICE.

20. Click on a FOURTH ITEM/SLICE
