In order to add a prefix like “Extra” or “No” to a modifier, you’ll need to create a modifier group or edit an existing group in order to create prefixes and then apply prefixes to modifiers in the cart. Prefixes are then entered in the OPTIONS field. Note: You must be on the latest version.

- LITE
- NO
- SIDE
- ONLY
- LEFT (i.e. pizza toppings)
- RIGHT (i.e. pizza toppings)
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant
2. Click “Items”
3. Click “Modifier Groups”
4. Select + New Item or press the Edit icon associated with the modifier group you would like to add prefixes to. Here, we will edit “PIZZA TOPPINGS”
5. Under “Options” enter the desired prefix value in the field below. If using more than one, separate by commas. Here we are choosing “LEFT” in regards to which side of the pizza the toppings will go on.
6. Click “Save Changes”
