This guide provides a straightforward method for efficiently managing multiple products in Acadia POS using mass actions, specifically focusing on cloning multiple products at once
1. Navigate to https://rfsm.acadiapos.com/ or https://manage.acadiapos.com/ from any browser
2. On the left hand side of the page click the tab “Items”
3. Lets start off by searching for a product name. Click the “Search” field at the top right of the page.
4. For our example we typed in “nitro” in the search bar.
Make sure to hit enter or the magnifying glass to bring up your results.
5. Click on “All” to select all items, or choose one or more individual items to update.
6. Now each item should be selected to update a mass action. You can choose just 1 item to clone by de-selecting the other items. (Maybe don’t have all items selected)
7. Click the Mass Actions dropdown.
Here we are selecting Clone Item as an example.
8. Select your category for the cloned item to go in. Make sure to hit the save button after.
9. In this example, we select “beer”
10. Now you will see that we cloned the items associated with the word “nitro” and they all have the category of “beer”
11. Next you will want to click on the edit pencil on the far right.
12. Next you would update the product name and any other relevant information. Make sure to change the SKU and barcode for the new similar product. Once you have doubled checked your information scroll down and click the Save button.** REDO CAPTURE FOR “SAVE”
