If your locations do not round change to the nearest five cents, remove the Round 5 shortcut from the cash tender screen to avoid accidental use. Learn how to easily disable the Round 5 button within your Acadia POS payment settings.
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant and click Settings in the sidebar menu.
2. Click “Payment methods”
3. Edit the “Cash” payment method.
4. Set Hide “Round 5” Button to “Enabled”
- When its enabled, the Round 5 button disappears from the payment modal, so cashiers rely on exact change or other rounding policies you define.
- All other tender shortcuts remain available.
5. Click “Save Changes”
