1. Go to the sidebar and Click “Customers”

2. Go to the upper right corner and click “Rewards”

3. Go to the upper right screen and click “New Reward Program”

Step 1 Add the name of the rewards program
Step 2 Choose whether to add “Customer Groups” or whether you will be “Exclude Customer Groups”
Step 3 Choose Whether to limit rewards to specific “Category IDS” or whether you will be “Excluding Category IDS”
Step 4 Choose whether you will be “Excluding Product IDS” If there is a specific item you don’t want to accumulate rewards, select that item.
Step 5 “Reward Mode” will be set to “Increase customer balance”
ADDITIONAL CONTROL OPTIONS
Step 6 Choose “Percentage per every order item”
Step 7 Choose the percentage “Amount” for this specific reward program
Step 8 Choose Max Allowed Balance for the reward program
Step 9 Choose a Min/max Order Subtotal
Step 10 Choose the “Max Earned Per Transacation”
Now click “Save Changes”

5. To see additional settings for customers click “Settings” on the sidebar

6. Click “General settings”

7. Press [[CRL+F(Windows) or (CMD+F) to search for the setting quicker.]]
Type Customer “Customer Assign” to quickly jump over to the settings area.
Or just scroll down to the “Customer” section.

8. You can set your Minimums/Maximums for
Min Redeemable amount
The minimum amount of rewards you are requires to use. For example, if you set the redeem to 2 dollars and customer tries to redeem for 1, it will be rejected due to the limit.
Max Redeemable amount
The maximum amount of rewards you are requires to use. For example, if a you set the redeem to 25 dollars and customer tries to redeem 30, it will be rejected due to the limit.
Min Cart Total: Redemption Requirement – Minimum Cart Value
This setting establishes the minimum total value a customer’s shopping cart must reach before they are eligible to apply their rewards.
- This total is calculated before taxes are added and after any non-reward discounts have been applied.
- If the cart value falls short of this requirement, the customer will receive an alert notification.
Illustrative Scenario: If you set the minimum cart total at $12 but a customer’s current total is only $10 a message will appear, informing them that they must add more items to their cart to qualify for rewards redemption. In this case it would be an additional $2.

9. When finished, scroll to the bottom and click “Save”
