Prevent discounts on specific products by enabling the Disable Product Discount Flag and setting Disable Discount to True. Use Mass Action to apply the setting to multiple products at once, ensuring consistent discount restrictions.
1. Navigate to manage.acadiapos.com for Retail or rfsm.acadiapos.com for Restaurant and click Settings in the sidebar menu. Then go to General Settings.
2. Press Ctrl + F (Windows) or ⌘ + F (Mac) and find “Disable Product Discount Flag”.
Set Disable Product Discount Flag to “Enabled”
3. Click “Save”
4. To block discounts on items, click “Items”.
5. Click the Edit icon for that item
6. In this case, set Disable Discount to True
- If you want to disable discount select True
- If you do not want to disable discount then choose False.
7. Click “Save”
8. (Optional) In the product list table, use Mass Action to update many products at once.
9. – Select the checkbox for items on which you want to use mass action.
- If you want to update disable discount for all items then click on Mass Action(All).
10. Open the Mass actions dropdown.
11. Select “Disable discount”.
12. Click “Ok”
Tip: Use the product-level flag for regulated items where discounts are not allowed.
